The UCF JK 2-Door Rock Rails are fabricated from a combination of 1/8", 3/16" and 1/4" steel plate to create what we feel is the lightest and strongest rock rail available.  These rails attach to the tub with (11) 5/16" bolts per side. 8 of these bolts grab the body at the pinch weld where 2-3 layers of steel come together. The other 3 bolts attach to the bottom of the tub. You will be required to drill 3 holes per side to fully complete the installation.

Have you ever noticed how thin the lower part of the body is on the JK? Go press with your thumb on the area where other companies are attaching their rocker guards. Notice that with little effort you can temporarily bend the sheet metal. UCF has avoided this problem with a rock rail that attaches to the thickest part of the tub at the pinch weld seam and the structural channel underneath. Our Rock Rails don't give up any clearance under the tub either. The lowest part of the rail is only 5/16" below the pinch weld seam.
