The UCF Aluminum Gas Tank Skid for 1987-1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ models is laser cut from 3/16" thick 6061-T6 aluminum hard plate (upgradable to 1/4" 6061-T6 for $96 extra - see above). It's fully TIG welded along outside perimeter. At 20lbs it's the lightest Jeep YJ gas tank skid available. We have included 4 water/mud drain holes in the design. Because it will increase ground clearance by over 1" this skid plate requires the installation of a 1" or greater body lift.
