UCF Aluminum Gas Tank Skid for Jeep YJ

Aluminum YJ gas tank skid at 20 lbs.

At 20 lbs, this aluminum skid protects the 15- or 20-gallon gas tank on your YJ and adds over 1" of ground clearance. Run it with a 1" or greater body lift.

Built to take a beating

• Laser cut from 3/16" thick 6061-T6 aluminum hard plate
• Upgradable to 1/4" 6061-T6 (choose the option above)
• Fully TIG welded along the outside perimeter
• At 20 lbs, it's one of the lightest Jeep YJ gas tank skids available
• 4 water/mud drain holes

Body lift: Because it increases ground clearance by over 1", this skid plate requires a 1" or greater body lift.

What's included: One gas tank skid plate. Hardware is not included; it reuses the factory mounting hardware.

Fitment: confirmed vehicles

• Jeep: Wrangler YJ 1987–1995 (fits the 15- and 20-gallon tanks)
