Description
Stronger transmission cross-member for '12-'18 JK.
The '12-'18 JK and JK Unlimited came with a thin sheet metal transmission cross-member. This replacement for that piece is far stronger and gives future skid plates something to bolt to.
Built to take a beating
- Fabricated from 3/16" carbon steel plate, laser cut and formed on a brake into (2) u-sections
- The sections interlock and are welded together along the full length of the part
- Sealed on the ends to keep water out
- Unnecessary factory holes are left out of the design to help prevent corrosion
- Four extra weld-nut holes for attaching future skid plates
- Weighs 34 lbs, with more than 4x the strength of the stock piece
What's included: One cross-member with nuts already welded inside. Hardware is not included; it reuses the factory bolts.
