UCF Steel Transfer Case Skid for Jeep TJ ('97-'02) – Ultra High-Clearance

Highest-clearance steel transfer case skid for the '97–'02 TJ.

Replace the factory skid on your '97–'02 TJ with our highest-clearance steel transfer case skid and add about 2 1/2" of ground clearance. It needs at least a 1" body lift or a UCF LOPRO mount.

Fits manual and automatic transmissions. Mounts for both are built in, so there is no separate version to choose.

Built to take a beating

• Fabricated from 3/16" thick carbon steel plate (with optional upgrade to 1/4" plate)
• Designed in 3D CAD software, laser cut and bent on a CNC press brake for a perfect fit every time
• Reinforced in the middle from one side to the other with a stiffening channel/transmission mount
• Front and rear edges are ramped to increase strength and help you slide over obstacles
• Total height of the system: about 1"

What's included: Skid plate. Mounting hardware is not included. You will need (6) 1 1/2" long x 1/2"-13tpi hex bolts with flat washers.

Needs: at least a 1" body lift or a UCF LOPRO mount for no body or transfer case vibration. Without the lift or mount, you'd have to clearance the tub, which we don't recommend.

Finish: shipped UPS in bare steel.
