UCF Steel Transfer Case Skid for Jeep YJ ('87-'95) – Ultra High-Clearance

Highest-clearance steel transfer case skid for the '87–'95 YJ.

Want our highest clearance on an '87–'95 YJ? This steel transfer case skid replaces the factory skid and adds 2 1/2" of ground clearance. We recommend at least 2" of body lift.

Fits manual (standard) and automatic transmissions.

Built to take a beating

• Fabricated from 3/16" thick carbon steel plate (upgradable to 1/4" plate)
• Designed in 3D CAD software, laser cut and bent on a CNC press brake for a perfect fit every time
• Reinforced in the middle from one side to the other with a stiffening channel/transmission mount
• Front and rear edges are ramped to increase strength and help you slide over obstacles
• Total height of the system: about 1"

Comes with a 3/16" steel adapter plate for the front set of mounting holes. It ships pre-attached to the skid with 3/8" low-profile bolts. Remove the adapter and paint it before final install.

Body lift: We recommend at least 2" of body lift to run this skid.

What's included: Skid plate with the 3/16" steel front adapter plate. Mounting hardware is not included. You will need (6) 1 1/2" long x 1/2"-13tpi hex bolts with flat washers.

Finish: shipped UPS in bare steel.
