UCF 14 Bolt Full Floater Double-Caliper Disc Brake Brackets

Double-caliper rear disc brakes for your 14 Bolt full-floater.

These work just like our standard 14 Bolt full-floater disc brake brackets: they bolt directly to the backing plate flange and let you run the common, inexpensive front caliper and rotor from a 1971–1986 GM 3/4-ton truck. The difference is a second caliper mount on each bracket, so you can put two calipers on each rotor.

Ways to use the second caliper:

• Cutting brakes: plumb it to a cutting brake lever so you can lock one rear wheel by itself. Holding the inside rear tire lets your rig pivot around it, tightening your turning radius on tight trails and ledges.
• Parking or emergency brake: give it its own hand-brake circuit, separate from your main brakes.
• More stopping power: run both calipers off your main brakes for more pad area on the rotor, which helps with big tires and heavy rigs.

• Laser cut from 3/8" carbon steel plate
• Bent to the correct offset, so you don't need longer bolts and spacers (which can lead to failure)
• Bolts directly to the backing plate flange
• Uses the 1971–1986 GM 3/4-ton front caliper and rotor

What's included: one pair of brackets (enough for one axle).

Hardware: not included. Reuse the factory bolts to attach the brackets; the caliper bolts come with the calipers.

Finish: ships as bare, unpainted steel.

Fitment: confirmed axles: GM 14 Bolt full-float rear.
