UCF Steel Transfer Case Skid for Jeep TJ & LJ ('03-'06) – Ultra High-Clearance

Highest-clearance steel transfer case skid for '03–'06 TJ/LJ.

Replace the factory skid on your '03–'06 TJ or LJ with our highest-clearance steel transfer case skid and add about 3 1/4" of ground clearance. It needs at least a 2" body lift, or a 1" body lift plus a UCF LOPRO mount.

Fits manual and automatic transmissions. Mounts for both are built in, so there is no separate version to choose.

Built to take a beating

• Fabricated from 3/16" thick carbon steel plate (with optional upgrade to 1/4" plate)
• Designed in 3D CAD software, laser cut and bent on a CNC press brake for a perfect fit every time
• Reinforced in the middle from one side to the other with a stiffening channel/transmission mount
• Front and rear edges are ramped to increase strength and help you slide over obstacles
• Total height of the system: about 1"

What's included: Skid plate. You will reuse the factory mounting hardware.

Needs: at least a 2" body lift, or a 1" body lift plus a UCF LOPRO mount, for no body or transfer case vibration. A 1" body lift alone means clearancing the tub, which we don't recommend.

Finish: shipped UPS in bare steel.
