UCF Steel Rear Bumper & Tire Carrier for Jeep JK

JK steel rear bumper with carrier for 37" tires.

Steel rear bumper and swing-out tire carrier for the Jeep JK, with more protection than some other companies offer. It runs full width, stands a couple of inches past the sides to guard your sheet metal, and reaches forward to the rear of the back fender wells.

We kept the weight to a minimum with intelligent material selections.

Construction and specs

• Frame mounting system: 1/4" and 3/8" carbon steel plate
• D-ring mounts: 3/4" thick, welded to the 3/8" mounting plates
• Bumper body: 3/16" carbon steel plate, bent with large-radius tooling for added strength and style
• Tire carrier: 3/16" steel, pivoting on HD trailer bearings
• Attaches to the rear door with a double pivot, so the door and tire carrier open with one hand in one smooth motion
• When closed, the carrier rests against the rear door on a rubber bushing that tensions the system so there are no rattles or vibrations
• Fits many wheels, from stock 6" backspacing down to 3.5"
• Handles tires as large as 37"
• Combined weight of bumper and tire carrier: about 125 lbs

What's included: Everything in the JK rear bumper, plus a welded spindle on the passenger side, a two-piece swing-out tire mount with its own hardware (adjustable wheel offset), a tailgate piece with a turnbuckle pivot, and a rubber bushing.

Finish: ships raw, with no paint or powder coat, so you can finish it however you like.
