The UCF Steel Rear Bumper for Jeep JK is a great option for those that want more protection than some other companies offer. This bumper is the full width of the Jeep and actually protrudes from the sides be a couple inches to protect your sheet metal. It extends forward to the rear of the back fender wells. The bumper weighs about 77 lbs.
We were able to keep the weight to a minimum with intelligent material selections. The frame mounting system is made from 1/4" & 3/8" carbon steel plate. The d-ring mounts are 3/4" thick and welded to the 3/8" mounting plates. The bumper body is made from 3/16" carbon steel plate. We used large radius tooling to make all the bends on the bumper body for added strength and style.
