UCF Aluminum Rear Bumper for Jeep JK

Aluminum JK rear bumper, about 43 lbs, full width.

At about 43 lbs, this aluminum rear bumper for the JK offers more protection than some other companies. It covers the full width, extends a couple of inches past each side to protect sheet metal, and carries forward to the rear of the back fender wells.

We kept the weight to a minimum with intelligent material selections. Any manufacturer using 6061-T6 aluminum must use large-radius tooling to avoid material fracture during bending. We've seen several companies make this claim, yet they bend their parts with sharp tooling. This simply isn't possible.

Construction and specs

• Frame mounting system: 1/4" and 3/8" carbon steel plate
• D-ring mounts: 3/4" thick, welded to the 3/8" mounting plates. Steel crossmembers under the aluminum skin carry the D-ring mounts, so they never rely on an aluminum weld
• Bumper body: 3/16" 6061-T6 aluminum hard plate, bent with large-radius tooling for added strength and style
• Weight: about 43 lbs

What's included: Five main pieces: pieces inside the frame, pieces outside the frame and the outer shell, plus all mounting hardware.

Finish: ships raw, with no paint or powder coat, so you can finish it however you like.
