HD Transfer Case Skid Plate for '87-'95 Jeep Wrangler YJ (Ultra High-Clearance)(6061-T6 Aluminum)

Fits '87-'95 Jeep Wrangler YJs with standard or automatic transmissions.

Fabricated from 1/4" thick 6061-T6 Aluminum plate (or upgrade to 3/8" thick 6061-T6 Aluminum plate).  The parts were designed in 3D CAD software and laser cut then bent on a CNC press brake for a perfect fit every time.

The UCF Transfer Case Skid Plate is reinforced in the middle of the skid from one side to the other with a stiffening channel/transmission mount.  The front and rear edges are ramped to increase strength and aid in sliding over obstacles.  This product will increase ground clearance by 2 1/2" over the factory skid plate.  The total height of this system is about 1".

This skid plate will come with a 3/16" steel adapter plate for the front set of mounting holes.  It is pre-attached to the skid with 3/8" low-profile bolts.  The adapter will need to be removed and painted prior to final install.

We recommend you install at least 2" of body lift to run this skid.  Shipped UPS in bare aluminum

Mounting hardware not included.  '87-'95 YJs will require (6) 1 1/2" long x 1/2"-13tpi hex bolts with flat washers.
