Description

UCF Ford Dana 60 Truss System w/ Double-Ended Ram Mount

This is one of those parts that are almost required when building a custom suspension on a leaf-sprung Ford Dana 60 front axle.  It provides a rock-solid point to mount your upper suspensions links and double-ended steering ram.  No more welding to cast steel housings.  Just install the diff cover, set the perch pad bracket in the spring perch, put the truss body in place on the tube and weld it all up.  I looks more complicated than it is.  Instruction set coming soon.

This truss system will come with a Dana 60 Diff Cover and an extra tab that has to be welded to the cover before the cover is installed.  This tab is what ties the truss system to the cover itself.

The size of the link tab platform is 4 1/8" x 20 1/2".  The size of the ram mount platform is 6 1/4" x 13 1/4".  The distance from the link mount platform to the centerline of the axle tube is 6 7/8".

Laser cut from 1/2" thick carbon steel plate, the truss body is heavy enough for any amount of horsepower.  The inner support gussets are made from 3/8" steel plate.   The skid on the front of the ram mount and the rear cover plate are 1/4" steel plate.

Truss hardware not included (diff cover hardware is included).  You will need to provide (3) 1/2" bolts and nuts.  Shipped bare of paint so you can weld it on, place your link tabs and steering ram, and weld it all up.
