UCF Heavy-Duty TJ Tailgate Hinge Set

The UCF Heavy-Duty TJ Tailgate Hinge Set was designed to be compatible with corner guards that don't have hinge cut-outs that weaken the design.  The late model ('03-'06) TJ tub has dished areas under the hinges to allow them to open.  These new hinges don't require the dish.  They sit flush with the corner guards and allow them to be sandwiched between the hinge and the tub.  This greatly increases the strength of the tailgate. The UCF hinges are also compatible for use without corner armor. These hinges are fabricated from 3/16" steel plate that is formed to create the strongest possible design.  They are fully MIG welded.  The pivots are designed with high-grade bolts and delrin bushings to prevent rattle and noise.  They also include new mounting hardware. These hinges are shipped bare and will need to be painted.
